What you get

A scan is a photograph.
Compliance is a video.

Anyone can tell you where your site stands this afternoon. The work is knowing, tomorrow morning, that a release last night quietly broke it again. Here is exactly what happens once a site is under monitoring.

Every morning

Your pages are checked again, before you start work

Not weekly. Not when you remember. Every morning, we request each page we watch and run the same WCAG 2.1 A and AA checks over it.

Up to six pages per site

Your home page, plus the ones that cost real money when they break: checkout, contact, a product template.

We choose them ourselves

On the first night we read your own navigation and pick the pages worth watching. You do not have to list them.

Alerts

You hear from us only when something changed

A monitoring tool that emails every day gets filtered into a folder nobody opens. These are the only messages we send:

The morning a score drops

Naming the page, the old score and the new one, and how many critical, serious and moderate failures it now has. Sent the same morning we see it — not at the end of the month.

The morning a new critical failure appears

Even if the overall score barely moved. A single unlabelled checkout button is worth an email on its own.

A short summary every Monday

Every page, its score, and how it moved over the week. One message, so you can tell a client something without opening anything.

If a page stops loading

After three days of failing to reach it, we say so rather than quietly reporting nothing.

The findings

Every failure, with the markup that fixes it

A list of rule names is not useful to a developer. For each finding your report shows four things:

The element it came from

Copied out of your own page, so it can be found with a search rather than a hunt.

The success criterion it fails

Named and numbered, so it can be quoted in a reply to a lawyer’s letter.

Before and after

The markup as it fails, and the same markup corrected. Illustrative, not code to paste unchanged — and we say so on every one.

How much work it is

Trivial, low or medium. Enough to plan an afternoon rather than guess at a quote.

For agencies

A report you put your own name on

If you look after sites for clients, the finding is only half the job. The other half is the document you send them.

Your name at the top, not ours

Enter your agency name and your client’s, and the finished report carries them. Nothing on the page mentions eaaradar.com.

Written for the person paying, not the person coding

What fails, how often, what it costs them, and what to do first — with the technical detail underneath for whoever does the work.

A PDF in two clicks

The report is a page that prints properly. Choose Save as PDF and send it. No export queue, no watermark, no per-report fee.

Evidence

A dated record of every check

We keep the last sixty readings for every page we watch, each one timestamped. When a complaint arrives, the difference between a warning and a penalty is often whether you can show you were already working on it — and this is that proof, gathered without anyone remembering to gather it.

Where it runs

Frankfurt, inside the EU

Your sites, your scores and your history are stored in a database in Frankfurt, and the code that scans your pages runs there too. The one exception is email: we send it through a provider in the United States, so the alerts reaching your inbox travel outside the EU. Our privacy policy names every provider we use.

Honestly

What we deliberately do not do

We do not install an overlay

Widgets that promise to fix accessibility with one line of JavaScript are widely criticised by disabled users and have themselves been the subject of legal action. We never add anything to your site. We only read it.

We do not sell a compliance certificate

Automated testing catches the obvious, repetitive failures quickly and cheaply. It cannot judge whether a page makes sense to someone using a screen reader. That part needs a person, and anyone selling you a badge instead is selling you a badge.

We do not email you for the sake of it

Four kinds of message, listed above, and nothing else. No newsletter, no upsells, no weekly “tips”.

Fourteen days, no card

Everything above, unlocked, for two weeks. If you do nothing at the end of it, nothing is charged and nothing is deleted.
